What I'm doing
Cybersecurity Engineering at Expadox Labs — developing security solutions involving secure APIs, AI-assisted threat detection, DevSecOps automation, and hybrid security monitoring. In parallel, I'm supporting enterprise infrastructure security at Fidson Healthcare Plc through Windows Server administration, Active Directory management, and security platform deployment.
I also serve as Cybersecurity Lead at the Inventors Community, where I lead cybersecurity initiatives, support knowledge sharing, and collaborate on security improvement activities.
What I'm building
Three key projects are getting most of my focus right now:
- SecOpsAI — an intelligent threat detection platform combining machine learning with security engineering to identify malicious network activity. Built with FastAPI, XGBoost, and Docker.
- ShieldFlow — a DevSecOps platform integrating automated security testing into the SDLC. GitHub Actions, Semgrep, Trivy, and OWASP ZAP.
- FireOps — a hybrid security monitoring architecture providing centralized visibility across cloud and on-premises environments using Wazuh, OpenSearch, Suricata, and AWS CloudTrail.
What I'm learning
- Detection Engineering — Building detection pipelines and rules using Zeek and Suricata telemetry. Deepening my understanding of threat detection strategies and SIEM optimization.
- AI-Assisted Security — Exploring how machine learning can enhance threat detection, automate incident response, and improve security operations efficiency.
- DevSecOps — Building CI/CD pipelines with integrated security testing, container security scanning, and automated vulnerability management.
